Dusk & Dahlia is our most sculptural, most considered composition — a study in the colours of late autumn: the deep burgundy of a calla lily reaching skyward on a long, arching stem; the warm coral of tulips that open wide, unashamed; the dusty mauve of a dahlia that blooms at the centre like a secret being slowly revealed; the cream of garden roses, full and unhurried; the ivory of lisianthus, soft as a whisper. And above it all, three dandelion-white allium spheres — perfectly round, perfectly still — floating like the last light of the day.
The vase was sculpted to hold this exact weight of beauty. Its ribbed, pumpkin-shaped silhouette — hand-cast in matte ivory ceramic with a linen-textured surface — is at once organic and architectural. It is the kind of vase that looks extraordinary empty, and becomes something else entirely when filled.
Together, they are a still life that belongs in a painting. Or a room you never want to leave.
