The Real Touch Burgundy Dancing Orchid Stem is the most dramatic and perhaps the most extraordinary stem in our dancing orchid collection — and one of the most genuinely striking stems we have ever made. Each stem splits into two long, arching branches that cascade and reach in every direction, each one carrying dozens of miniature blooms in the deepest, most saturated burgundy — a colour so dark and so richly complex that it reads almost black in shadow, revealing its true depth of deep wine-red, plum, and near-black only when the light catches it directly. Each tiny bloom is a perfectly formed oncidium with a wide, ruffled lip petal and a cluster of smaller upper petals, their surface marked with the darkest, most velvety texture — the kind of colour that feels almost impossible to achieve in a faux botanical, and yet here it is, in every bloom, on every branch.

The branches are slender and sinuous, bending and curving with the natural, unscripted movement of a real oncidium spray, so that the whole stem appears to be caught mid-dance — a dark, theatrical dance that is unlike anything else in a floral arrangement. The blooms are crafted from our signature Real Touch botanical material — a premium, moisture-infused fabric that replicates the delicate, slightly waxy texture of a real oncidium petal with extraordinary fidelity. This stem is spectacular displayed alone in a tall, narrow vase, or paired with our Yellow Dancing Orchid for a colour contrast of extraordinary drama.
