At 38.6" (98cm) tall, this is a stem of extraordinary presence — a long, dark, elegantly textured branch that forks and reaches in the way only a real magnolia tree does, carrying six fully open blooms and a generous scattering of tightly furled buds at varying heights along its length. The blooms are wide-faced and deeply layered, their petals a rich, sun-warmed terracotta-apricot — a colour that sits somewhere between burnt orange, warm peach, and the softest amber, deepening at the petal centre and fading to a creamy blush-white at the outer edges where the petals curl and ruffle with the most beautiful organic movement.
